In a surprising partnership that challenges usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "A strange encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where rumors of banned practices and terrifying changes reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.
The adventure concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
